According to the World Robotics Report 2006 published by the International Federation of Robotics Statistical Department, robotics investments for 2005 were up by 34% in the United States. Their estimate states that "by the end of 2005, about 914,000 industrial robots will do their jobs worldwide."
In the future will displaced human workers be forced to battle the robots for their jobs?
