A (where else but) Carnegie Mellon sponsored community robotics class has opened a new door in robotics. Edible Robots!
A few of the students decided for the class reception to build some robots made entirely out of food. These models were understandably basic, but they laid the tracks for a huge area to come. Imagine robots that entertain you before you eat them. Children's snacks may never be the same. Imagine again robots made for the sport of hunting and eating. It's only a matter of time till they evolve enough to survive our little food games and turn the tables. If they're made up of edible nano swarms as the box top suggests you may need to ask yourself, "Are you eating it ...or is it eating you?"
