The trend is clearly that of humans crafting robots (and their ilk) in the image of themselves. Witness this android professor and the oft-mentioned but rarely seen animatronic Philip K. Dick. Combined with recent news indicating technology is becoming a girl's best friend I ask: isn't it logical to assume that one day humanity (perhaps beginning with the male of the species) will evolve towards becoming cyborg post-humans, and then simply be supplanted by a superior robotic intelligence?
Just food units for thought.
