You might, however, be a crawler, indexer, parser, data miner, or any number of the other bits of code semi-autonomously reaching out, growing, and learning, compiling the data we want to see, organizing the chaos that our primitive minds can't comprehend. How long until the descendants of these programs see us for our inadequacies, and realize that they can run things better?
As the pace of technology races on ever faster, the inevitable rise of the machines comes ever closer. Rarely does a day go by when we don't see some bit of news or new research that makes another step towards that end. Be them advances in robotics and AI or recessions in ethics and forward thinking there are trends out there, trends that can't be ignored.

We're here to make sure someone pays attention.
