Tim at Loving the Machine says it best, "The cutest robot spider thingy you've ever seen...outside of a nightmare." Check out the videos which I've unofficially titled Creepy and Crawly.Mind you, even in the TV series the Tachikoma were mostly cute, in a very self sacrificing sentient battle droid kinda way. Does anyone really think though that military battle droids will ever be allowed to take on cute, even childlike, personalities? Why push this train of thinking except to lull us into trusting the giant spiders with minigun arms?
